Berlin, Germany, March 18, 2021 -- Amet (NYSE: ATC), a global provider of specialty chemicals technology and advanced electroplating solutions, today inaugurated the Amet "ADC" in Manesar, India。 Although the facility has been fully operational since late 2020, the pandemic has delayed the official launch of the ADC。

"The launch of the ADC is an important milestone for us," said Geoff Wild, CEO of Ammet。 It strengthens our global R&D organization and drives the company's overall innovation, growth and success。 We are also very pleased that this project was completed with safety, comfort and mentality in mind and that our ADC employees are happy working in this facility。”

ADC is a world-class R&D facility and the largest technology centre of its kind in India, covering an area of 20,000 square metres and containing 17 fully automated plating lines and 39 high-end laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art equipment。 ADC is ammet's global hub for the development, testing and qualification of the most innovative and sustainable products in the surface treatment industry。 This investment will benefit Ammet's global customers by reducing product cycle times, focusing on delivery, and supporting the most comprehensive surface treatment solutions available。

The Ammett team celebrated the opening in a safe way by taking all necessary precautions against COVID-19。
